WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY?

Hypnotherapy

I have been working as a hypnotherapist for many years (over a decade) and have a lot of experience of working with lots of different people, for lots of different issues.

Hypnotherapy is a great way to overcome any fears you may have, or obstacles that you have been facing. It can be used to treat anxiety, phobias, substance abuse, sexual dysfunction, undesirable spontaneous behaviors, and bad habits.

Hypnotherapy can also be used to help improve sleep, learning disorders, communication, and relationship issues. It can also be used to help aid pain management and help resolve medical conditions such as IBS.

For more information of if you would like to have a chat, feel free to give me a call on 07917 888327. I offer a discounted initial consultation and then further bookings can be made following this at a time to suit you.

    What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a type of complementary therapy that i’m trained and experienced in. I’ve been successfully using hypnotherapy in Northampton for a long time and have helped many people who have had issues with things such as stopping smoking, helping with weight loss, working with phobias, stress and anxieties, and helping to manage irrational fears and bad habits, too (amongst other things). Hypnosis is a state of relaxation similar to that daydream state between waking and sleeping. Hypnotherapy is the use of this state of relaxation to access the subconscious to deal with personal problems and issues.

What can Hypnotherapy help with?

  • Phobias

  • Weight Loss

  • Stop Smoking

  • Fear of Flying

  • Insomnia

  • Confidence Issues

  • Trauma

  • And more...

  • What happens in Hypnotherapy?

Based from my clinic in the centre of Northampton, you will be made to feel completely comfortable and then when we are ready to start the hypnotherapy session, hypnosis will be used which will create a state of focussed attention with increasing suggestibility during which positive suggestions can be absorbed. The state of hypnosis is induced using a gentle, spoken technique. At all times, you will remain in control and after the initial session, treatment will vary according to your needs as each client is treated uniquely.

    How does it work?

By working with the subconscious mind, together we are able to pin-point with the issue that is causing the problem and from there we can make the necessary changes.

Hypnotherapy is most successful for those people who are receptive to new experiences, who are willing to make discoveries about themselves, by challenging their understanding of themselves. It is an ideal and completely safe way to help treat many issues.
